We will be racing tonight at Buck Hill.  Buck has communicated with us that the hill is ready to go and it looks like the rains has stopped.

SKI CHALLENGE PACESETTER TRIALS

Pacesetting Trials for Ski Challenge will be Monday, December 21 at Buck Hill and Wednesday, December 16 at Wild Mountain.

NASTAR Results

NASTAR results are currently unavailable.  As of December 3, NASTAR does not have any working software to integrate with its website.  Ski Challenge normally submits scores the day after each race to NASTAR for our racers to be ranked nationally.  USSA purchased NASTAR in the Spring and made the decision not to sign on the existing NASTAR software developer.  Ski Challenge is currently working closely with NASTAR to try and post scores in some way.  We will update this information as we get it.

RACE THE GATES for Wild Mountain

The past NASTAR software developer has started his own program, Race the Gates, to post scores online.  Wild Mountain is using Race the Gates to time our Ski Challenge Races (they used to use NASTAR, but that is unavailable at this time).  Ski Challenge will submit all Wild Mountain races for Ski Challenge to both NASTAR and Race the Gates.  This program is similar to the NASTAR program.  Buck Hill scores will only be sent in to NASTAR when that is available.  To see more information go here:  RACE THE GATES

Ski Challenge scores will always be posted by the next day on the Ski Challenge Website.  Check out all your results BY CLICKING HERE and scrolling down.

Due to lack of snow making it difficult to place gates, Buck Hill Tuesday Pre-season for December 1 has been postponed.  We will reschedule week 1 for December 8.

Preseason Wednesday at Wild Mountain Week 1 is still on as scheduled for Wednesday, December 2

Time:  7 pm inspection 7:30 timing
Location:  Expressway week 1 / Wild week 2

Dates:  Sundays, December 27 and January 3
Time:  4 pm Inspection – 4:30 timing
Location:  Expressway for both weeks.

Times will be read over the loud speaker – nothing will be recorded, posted or sent in to NASTAR.

* Current Ski Challenge racers are welcome to come to the practice time.  There will be a $10 charge payable to Wild Mountain for all current members.

This clinic is designed for skiers who can ride the chairlift on their own and who can handle skiing on Expressway and/or Wild- There will be no staffing available to assist young children on an individual basis.
