We are working with Adam Buck and Trail Source, to create five skill specific teaching areas for mountain biking. Mountain Bike Day Camp

Mountain bike camps are designed with an emphasis on achieving safe, injury-free riding through the establishment and continuous refinement of core skills. We start with basic skills and techniques and build on mastering these in order for the children to be safe and enjoy the rides. We teach skill development using fun games, sequential skill mastery and developing the children ’ s risk and hazard perception off road. This is achieved through the development of fundamental and advanced skills which improve the rider’s capacity to overcome trail difficulties and avoid injury. Kids must be strong, able to ride on pavement and dirt, and be comfortable riding 5+ miles! Each camp features special Guest Speakers from our local bike shops as well as Guest Instructors.

Downhill Divas

Taught by women, for women, this encouraging camp is divided into two skills levels; beginner and intermediate. It is designed for riders who need guidance in building confidence and skills. This group is perfect for the first time rider who has never ridden on dirt trail or someone who has maybe only ridden on dirt a few times. Whether you are physically fit (or looking to get there!), adventurous and want to learn more about mountain biking.

High School Hot Laps

Get a Jump on the High School Race Season with summer coaching at Buck Hill.
Tuesday night’s from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM will be open to all High School athletes looking to develop their mountain bike skills. These sessions will be led by trained coaches.
You will learn proper shifting, climb better, descend faster,  Race Smarter, while building your endurance on the challenging single-track at Buck Hill.

Macho Mondays

Get out and RIDE! We will teach you the physical and mental skills on how to ride balanced, efficiently, fast and smooth . We also be teach drills for each skill so you can practice after the camp and master these skills, ending the frustration of not riding to your potential. We have designed our mountain bike skills camps to help you with both the mental and physical sides of mountain biking. Our goal is to help you reach your potential by teaching you the core skills of mountain biking along with the drills to master them Learning and becoming proficient at these skills will allow you to ride in balance and in control making you a more efficient and confident rider.

Mountain Bike Yoga

Learn how Yoga can help you:

• Increase awareness of the muscles and body parts needed for biking
